This article reflects upon an ‘ethically-important’ or ‘ethically-charged’ moment that arose in an interview with an adolescent participant involved in an obesity-reduction program. It encourages reflection upon ‘taken-for-granted’ terms when developing interview schedules as well as exploring on the notions of co-production and researcher reflexivity more broadly.
