Young people

Young people

Youth is the transitional phase between childhood and adulthood. The term ‘youth’ is not defined in international law; however, working definitions from the United Nations use the term ‘youth’ for young people 15 years through to age 24 years. Young people are a heterogeneous group in constant evolution and the experience of ‘being young’ varies enormously across regions and within countries.
